DCBA EDUCATIONAL
PROGRAMS
BAR ASSOCIATION SECTION MEETINGS
DCBA Section Meetings are organized by the Chair where DCBA members can earn 1 hour of free MCLE or PRMCLE credit. Presentations must include significant intellectual, educational or practical content that increases participant’s competency as an attorney and deals primarily with matters related to the practice of law. Bar Association Meetings take place at noon and the date varies based on each section. We no longer provide paper handouts to meeting attendees, all handouts are provided electronically.

SEMINARS
DCBA Seminars are MCLE or PRMCLE presentations over 1.5 hours in length and are in- depth presentations on a particular topic related to the practice of law. Members and non-members are charged a fee to attend a seminar. DCBA Section Chairs are encouraged to organize a seminar as an extension of the Bar Section Meetings, although seminar organizers are not limited to Section Chairs. DCBA encourages attorneys, organizations, companies, etc. to submit a Presenter Proposal form for a DCBA Seminar.
MEGA MEETING
DCBA’s Annual Education Day “Mega Meeting" is a daylong event in January featuring up to 5 hours of MCLE and PRMCLE credits and the opportunity to host local exhibitors. Attendees can connect with various areas of legal practice with engaged presenters and network with colleagues.
